ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَىُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُ

Ibn Kathir says: "This is the greatest ayah in the Quran, because it contains the Greatest Name of Allah by which, if He is called upon, He responds." The verse asserts Allah's absolute Oneness — al-Hayy (Ever-Living) and al-Qayyum (the Self-Sustaining Sustainer of all creation).
