By using AlHudah, you agree to these terms. They are written to be fair, clear, and respectful of your rights as a user.
Last updated: April 2026By accessing or using alhudah.com (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
AlHudah provides access to the full text of the Quran in Arabic, multiple translations, classical tafsir excerpts, and AI-assisted semantic search. The Platform is designed for personal study, reflection, and reference.
Core reading features are free and do not require registration. An account is required only to save reading progress, bookmarks, and personal notes across multiple devices.
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time. Where practical, we will provide advance notice for material changes.
The Arabic text of the Quran displayed on AlHudah is sourced from the Uthmanic Rasm (Hafs 'an 'Asim recitation), which is the standard printed Mushaf used globally. We verify the accuracy of our digital source against established reference editions. If you identify any error in the Arabic text — no matter how minor — please report it immediately to ehsaasradio@gmail.com. Corrections will be prioritised above all other updates.
Translations are reproduced from their respective published works with attribution. We do not modify translation texts except to correct typographical errors that are clearly inconsistent with the original published work. Translation authors and publishers retain their respective copyrights.
Tafsir excerpts are attributed to their scholars and presented as scholarly opinion, not religious rulings. AlHudah does not endorse any one scholarly position over another where legitimate scholarly differences exist.
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. AlHudah uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication; we do not store your password.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date. Accounts are for individual personal use. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your personal data (bookmarks, notes, reading history) will be removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
You are permitted to use AlHudah for the following purposes:
The following uses are expressly prohibited:
Violation of these prohibitions may result in suspension or termination of your account and, where applicable, legal action.
User-generated content on AlHudah is currently limited to personal notes and bookmarks visible only to you. These remain your property. By storing them on our platform, you grant AlHudah a limited licence to store and display them to you as part of the service.
You are responsible for the content of your notes. We ask that personal notes treat the Quran and its commentary with appropriate respect. We reserve the right to remove notes that contain content that is clearly abusive, hateful, or otherwise violates applicable law, though we do not routinely review private user content.
AlHudah's semantic search feature uses artificial intelligence to understand natural language queries and return contextually relevant Quranic references. This is a tool to aid study — it is not a source of religious authority.
AI-generated search results may occasionally be incomplete, imprecise, or reflect the limitations of the underlying language model. Always verify important conclusions against the original text, trusted translations, and qualified scholarly sources.
We do not take responsibility for reliance on AI search results in matters of religious practice or legal rulings.
We aim to keep AlHudah available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, and events beyond our control (including acts of God, ISP outages, and third-party service failures) may cause temporary unavailability.
We will announce planned maintenance periods in advance where possible. No compensation is offered for periods of unavailability, but we commit to restoring service as quickly as possible and to communicating transparently about incidents.
AlHudah is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AlHudah and its operators disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall AlHudah be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on any content presented on the Platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which may be zero for free accounts).
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform that cannot be resolved through good-faith communication will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
